Course Overview:

The PADI AWARE Fish Identification Specialty is focused on helping divers recognize, identify and understand fish species and families they encounter underwater.  You’ll enjoy your dives even more when you recognize the creatures that you see and can identify the main fish families and their characteristics.

• How to identify fish families and species
• Use tools to help identification
• Conservation awareness

Certification Requirements:

• Prerequisites: PADI (Junior) Open Water Diver or equivalent
• Time: 1-2 days
• Age: 10 years or older
